Laser Eye Surgery Information

Traditionally eye sight problems have been corrected with glasses or contact lenses, but in recent times there has been a move toward laser surgery as a popular alternative. The laser is directed on the cornea, the outer, clear round structure that covers the coloured part of the eye (iris) and the pupil. It corrects eye defects with varying results. While some patients are able to throw away their glasses or contact lens, for others, this is not the case. |
